Stock Your Kitchen at the Columbia Pike Farmers Market

Before you hit the grocery store this weekend, make a detour over to the Columbia Pike Farmers Market at Pike Park. That’s where you should be loading up on newly picked produce, handmade baked goods, all natural meats, and more before you pay the high prices for less fresh goods at the supermarket. The Columbia Pike Farmers Market has been a neighborhood hub for over 200 years, and features the finest prepared foods and locally grown items from Penn Farm, Bread & Water Company, Westmoreland Produce, Acme Pie Company, and more. They even carry handcrafted soaps, pressed olive oils, and other crafts from a variety of vendors each week.

The Columbia Pike Farmers Market operates year round on Sundays, with a start time of 9 a.m. until the end of the year (start time at 10 a.m. in January). Get there early to get your pick of the produce, or come closer to lunchtime for prepared foods before the market shuts down at 1 p.m.
